Operation Sequence of High-frequency Shaft Quenching Equipment

1. Check if all parts installation work has been completed.

2. Turn on the cooling switch, wait until water flows out from the outlet to ensure all circulation water routes are unobstructed. If there is a water shortage alarm, increase the water pressure or adjust the pressure controller. Pay attention to ensure the pressure parameters for this type of machine.

3. Close the power switch and measure if the power supply is normal.

4. Adjust the induction coil, place the workpiece inside, then adjust the position between the induction coil and the workpiece. Check if there's any direct short circuit between the loops of the induction coil or short circuit through the workpiece (except for heat-resistant and insulating materials added in between).

5. Time adjustment. Its function is to automatically stop heating after starting the heating according to the set time. For first-time users, you can start with one second control, observe the heating situation, then gradually adjust to the optimal heating time required for this workpiece. Skip this step for models without time control.

6. Start heating. First, turn the "power adjustment knob" to the minimum, press the "start" button or step on the pedal switch. At this point, the heating indicator light will flash and emit a "beep beep" sound, indicating that the equipment has started working and is heating the workpiece. Observe the heating condition of the workpiece and adjust the "power adjustment knob" to change the heating speed. Note: Do not start heating under high power conditions with no load or with a large induction coil and a very small workpiece.

7. Stop heating. Press the "stop" button, the machine stops working. According to user needs, other ways can also be used to stop heating.

8. Shut down. First, turn off the power switch on the panel, wait until the water temperature at the outlet cools down, then turn off the water source, and finally turn off the power switch. The air switch of this equipment is mainly set for current limiting protection. To extend its service life, it should be operated as little as possible. It is recommended that users install a dedicated switch for controlling power supply.

Quenching technology is widely applied in modern mechanical manufacturing industries. Important parts in machinery, especially steel parts used in automobiles, airplanes, and rockets, almost all undergo quenching treatment. To meet various technical requirements, various quenching technologies have developed. For example, based on the treated part, there are overall, partial quenching, and surface quenching; based on whether the phase transformation is complete during heating, there are complete quenching and incomplete quenching (for hypoeutectoid steel, this method is also known as subcritical quenching); based on the content of phase transformation during cooling, there are分级quenching, isothermal quenching, and under-speed quenching, etc.
