"伏击" supporting actor claims to have fled for 13 years, performing as another person
"Soft start, when my TV drama first aired, I was scared and quickly changed the channel, fearing that I would be recognized by someone in the field or by the police back home," Jisiguang said. In this state of constant fear, he relied on his insight and diligence to quickly upgrade from an extra to a significant supporting role with some lines.
Supporting actor in "Hidden" fled after committing a crime: wanting fame but afraid of being discovered
A smooth career path, hoping to go from Hengdian to the whole country
In 1999, Wei Shaoguang was sentenced to life imprisonment, while Li An and Liu Houpeng were sentenced to death. Jisiguang disappeared.
Although Jisiguang's life seemed peaceful on the surface during his escape, despite never imagining that he could appear in TV series and movies, playing over 30 roles, his inner self was never at ease.
Jisiguang admitted that he has always loved acting, but since he was a fugitive, he didn't want to appear frequently on television, causing him great internal conflict. After much thought, he decided to take a gamble, bought a decent set of clothes, carefully disguised himself, and went to the Zhejiang Hengdian Film City casting department. Unexpectedly, after trying out for several roles, the head of the casting department was relatively satisfied and thus kept him.
On the run, he transformed into an actor
For the fugitive Jisiguang, life is like a play. Plays are different; there are real plays and fake ones. It's often easier to play a character well, but it's hard to act as oneself.
The Qiqihar Municipal Public Security Bureau and Tiefeng Branch conducted extensive investigations, quickly locking down the suspects. Within five months, they captured Wei Xiaojang. Wei Xiaojang quickly confessed to conspiring with Liu Xianpeng, Li Ming, and Jisiguang to stab a police officer, rob, and hide guns. Li Ming and Liu Xianpeng were subsequently captured, but the suspect Jisiguang remained at large.
When he appeared gloomily on the screen several times, did he still worry that others might recognize him from the TV? Before his arrest, he was still playing a monk in the TV series "Changlin Tiger." The director had planned to continue filming the remaining scenes with the actor "Zhang Guofeng," only to find that the actor had vanished without a trace.
The fugitive Jisiguang did not expect that after 13 years, the police would still track him down, and a cold pair of handcuffs was finally placed on his wrists.
On December 7, 2011, during a visit to Jinhua, Zhejiang, the police found a man with Northeastern dialect whose physical features closely resembled the fugitive Jisiguang. After careful identification, the police ultimately confirmed that the man was the fugitive Jisiguang who had been on the run for 13 years. However, by then, Jisiguang had become "Zhang Guofeng." The police, after planning, arrested the criminal suspect Jisiguang in Jinhua that night.

The police listed the then 27-year-old Jisiguang as a wanted fugitive and pursued him across half of China, but they never succeeded.
Upon investigation, it was found that on the evening of the incident, Wei, Liu, Li, and Ji conspired to commit murder and robbery. They followed the couple Yang Lin, and Liu Xianpeng stabbed Yang Lin. Li Ming took the gun, Ji Silight robbed Yang Lin's son, Wei Changjiang hid the gun, and then the four fled separately. For a period afterward, the four carried daggers and committed 29 armed robberies in the city, injuring victims and stealing small amounts of cash, mobile phones, pagers, and other property. Among them, Jisiguang participated in three crimes, although he did not play a major role or gain any property, but because he lived in a bathhouse and participated in eating and drinking, he was considered a co-conspirator in the robbery.
At around 7 p.m. on December 6, 1998, Detective Yang Lin of the Tiefeng Branch of the Qiqihar Public Security Bureau was walking with his wife on the street when suddenly four shadows darted out behind them. "Don't move, or we'll kill you!" "I'm a police officer!" Yang Lin shouted, but before he could finish speaking, he was stabbed twice in the chest and back and fell to the ground. Subsequently, the thugs brazenly searched his body, stole all of Yang Lin's belongings, and tried to take the "Type 77" pistol from his waist. The barely conscious Yang Lin desperately held onto the gun, and after being beaten and kicked, the thugs took the gun away. Yang Lin was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with a severed spinal nerve. He was later determined to have suffered serious injuries, an eighth-level disability, and lifelong disabilities.

During a media interview at the time, he confidently said that he hoped to help make Hengdian famous, to rise to prominence in Hengdian through talent, and to go from Hengdian to the whole country.
After the nationwide "Clear Web" campaign began, the Qiqihar Municipal Public Security Bureau and Tiefeng Branch reviewed online fugitives over the years and decided to investigate the "December 6, 1998" violent attack on police and gun robbery case as a homicide case. The pursuit team conducted extensive investigations and interviews.

Under the pseudonym "Zhang Guofeng," Jisiguang was captured and had already become an actor, appearing in supporting roles in more than 30 TV series. Not long ago, he starred in the popular TV series "Tang Palace Beauty World" broadcast on various local TV stations.
According to Wang Shaoyi, the head of the Investigation Supervision Department of the Tiefeng District Procuratorate of Qiqihar City, in January 2010, the already somewhat famous "Zhang Guofeng" gave an exclusive interview to a media outlet, discussing in detail his legendary experience from being a "Hengdian drifter" (a term referring to people working in the film and television industry in Hengdian) to becoming a professional actor.
"I'm scared, I'm very scared, but apart from acting, I don't have any other skills," Jisiguang said in response to our question. After the incident, to avoid capture, he first fled to Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, where he sang in a nightclub. Later, he changed his identity to "Zhang Guofeng" from Shandong Province and became active in the Hengdian Film City in Jinhua, Zhejiang, where he "hid" under the guise of an actor.
On January 10, 2012, the Tiefeng District Procuratorate approved the arrest of the criminal suspect Jisiguang on charges of robbery. With Jisiguang's capture, the violent assault on police and gun robbery case from 13 years ago was finally closed.
Jisiguang claimed to be from Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, in his thirties, a typical Northeastern Chinese man with a straightforward personality. Like many "Hengdian drifters," he once performed in a theater troupe and also did business at sea. In 2009, his acting abilities and acting career were continuously improving, and he was considered one of the fastest-improving "Hengdian drifters."
Even after capture, brilliance can only be savored outside the high walls
In recent popular TV dramas such as "Oriental Red 1949," "Hero of the Beggar World," and "Miracle Doctor," Jisiguang's face can be seen. He has acted alongside famous stars like Liu Xiaqing, Zhang Jian, and Yang Mi. When walking on the streets of Hengdian, people often stop him and ask if he played the role of Shengxiang in the popular TV series "Hidden." Later, he admitted that he was "Shengxiang," but when tourists asked to take photos with him, fearing exposure of his identity, he sometimes denied playing the role of Shengxiang.
Now, if he wasn't a fugitive, his life journey would have been quite remarkable. But now, the cold handcuffs have been placed on his wrists. The characters he created that appeared on the screen will also have to be savored outside the high walls.
Thirteen years later, he violently attacked the police with others
"Why did you choose to become an actor with high exposure as a fugitive? Aren't you afraid of being caught?"
