Mastering the "Shut Down" feature of Windows Vista

The shutdown feature in Windows Vista is no longer directly available to users as it was in Windows XP. After installing the system, regular users only have three function keys: Sleep, Lock, and Function; the Shutdown key is hidden in the function menu, so every time you want to use it, you have to select it from the function menu. Also, the hibernate function that we commonly use is not directly provided. How can we set it up to use these functions normally?
