Southern Daily News (Reported by Fang Zhenbin, Intern Reporter Huang Shaohong): At around 5:40 AM yesterday, a homicide occurred at the home of Zhou, a security officer in Yisha Village, Shatian Town, Dongguan City, resulting in two deaths and two severe injuries. Security officer Zhou and his eldest son were severely injured and hospitalized but are now out of danger; his wife died on the scene, and his youngest son passed away after being sent to the hospital due to ineffective rescue.

Yesterday afternoon, the Shatian police announced that the case was suspected to be a family tragedy caused by marital conflicts. After the incident, the police immediately conducted an investigation of the crime scene and visited people for information. Upon understanding the deceased's family situation and workplace, it was found that there had been long-standing prominent conflicts between Zhou and his wife. It was initially suspected that this was a tragic case triggered by a couple's conflict.

However, Zhou's cousin from the same village said that after the murder, the severely injured Zhou claimed, "A certain factory wants to exterminate my entire family," revealing that five men in a minivan committed the crime and forcibly made Zhou drink something. The reporter learned from the Taiping People's Hospital that Zhou indeed showed signs of poisoning during his rescue. Meanwhile, some informed individuals claimed that Zhou killed his wife and children over housing construction issues.

The villager Ms. Liang told reporters that at around 5:00 AM on the day of the incident, she heard cries for help. When she stepped outside her house, she saw about 100 meters away from her home, near Grandma Zhou's door, two "bloody figures" pounding on windows and shouting for help loudly.

Later, Ms. Liang realized that these two people were Zhou's sons, the elder named Zhou Jian and the younger named Zhou Hui. "At the time, Jian was holding his younger brother Hui, knocking on Grandma's window and shouting for help," Ms. Liang said. She noticed Jian covering Hui's neck, but blood still gushed out from Hui's neck, with his face turning purplish-black, eyes rolling back. Simultaneously, Jian also had head injuries, and his back was completely covered in blood. After knocking on the doors and windows, they collapsed onto the stone bench at Grandma Zhou's doorstep, and Hui went into shock multiple times.

At this moment, neighbors who heard the cries for help gradually gathered around. Some villagers called the police, and a few ran to Zhou's house across the street to knock on the door, but after nearly a minute of knocking, no one responded inside. They decided to force the door open.

According to Zhou's cousins from the same village, the neighbors borrowed a shovel from Ms. Liang's house to pry open the iron gate of Zhou's first floor. One man participating in the rescue discovered Zhou lying beside the window of the second-floor room and was later carried out of the house by four men. According to Zhou's cousin, Zhou had a wound on his left chest and also an injury on his right arm.

According to Mr. Liang, who participated in breaking down the door to save people, when they tried to break down the door of Zhou's second-floor room, they found someone inside pushing against the door forcefully, making it difficult to break in. After managing to break the door open, they discovered Zhou sitting behind the door, while Zhou's wife lay on the bed with bloodstains all over the sheets. "We were puzzled why Zhou knew we were here to rescue but still pushed against the door," Mr. Liang said.

It was learned that Zhou is a security personnel in Yisha Village, Shatian Town. His wife worked as a cleaner in a factory in the Shatian Environmental Protection City before her death. His eldest son was unemployed at home, and his youngest son was in the first year of junior high school.
