Henan Business Daily (reporter Yan Yan Wang) - Yesterday, a young man without clothes was seen running back and forth on the streets of Zhengzhou. Some people gave him clothes to wear, while others provided him with food. The man said that he survives by eating garbage.
At around 8 am yesterday, at the intersection of Yousheng South Road and Wei Sheng Road in Zhengzhou, a man about 20 years old was seen running naked on the street. Later, Mr. Wang, a patrol team member from Dashiqiao, along with his colleagues, guided the young man to a secluded area. The man shivered as he muttered to himself: "It's too cold, life is too hard."
When the reporter saw him, he had already put on a pair of pants. "A passerby felt sorry for him and gave him the pants," said Mr. Wang.
The man said his name is Yang Hong, he is 20 years old, and has been wandering outside. He ran out from where he lived in the morning because his clothes were too dirty, so he threw them away.
He still wore flip-flops, and his hands and feet were dirty. As he was shivering, another kind-hearted person brought an overcoat for him to wear.
He spoke with some stuttering, sometimes saying that his situation was due to being forced by others, and other times saying that he had never seen his parents since childhood. He led the patrol team members to his "home". On the second floor of a shop on Yousheng North Road, there were piles of garbage on the ground. "I dig through it for food," he said.
People from the car wash downstairs said they had seen the young man living upstairs for more than ten days, carrying big and small packages upstairs every day, picking things to eat from them.
Since the man could not clearly state his home address, the patrol team members said they couldn't help him either, but hoped that if anyone sees him, they would offer some assistance. "His parents might be anxiously searching for him."
