The day before yesterday, the police of Jiachang County in Huludao City brought the criminal suspect Wang (second from left) to the crime scene for identification. The 41-year-old single man, Wang, who had been a butcher, after drinking more than 6 liang (approximately 300g) of strong liquor, deceived a 14-year-old girl from the same village up the mountain, asked her to take off her clothes but was refused. He then used both his fists and stones to kill the girl.
Yesterday, the investigators from the Public Security Bureau of Jiachang County in Huludao City told reporters that the police solved this extremely serious intentional homicide and dismemberment case within just 4 hours.
The 14-year-old girl, named Xiaoli (a pseudonym), lived in a certain village in Heshang Fangzi Township, Jiachang County. She was in primary school and grew up into a graceful young lady.
On the afternoon of January 26th, while playing near her home, Xiaoli saw Wang passing by and greeted Uncle Wang. However, she did not expect that a pair of evil eyes had already targeted her.
At around 3 PM on that day, Xiaoli's family found out that the child was missing. They searched until late at night and expanded their search area, but still could not find her by the next morning.
On the morning of January 27th, the family again organized many people to search the mountains and ravines around the village. Later, they found Xiaoli's two bloody pairs of cotton shoes on the mountain and immediately reported it to the police.
The Public Security Bureau of Jiachang County quickly organized police forces to rush to the scene, mobilizing multiple types of police work collaboratively. While investigating and questioning, they continued to search for the girl. More than an hour later, they finally discovered a buried human leg on the shaded slope of the mountain gully, confirming that Xiaoli had been killed.
After investigation and analysis, the police identified Wang as a key target for investigation, searching his residence. In the firewood pile, they found a blood-stained shirt and a bloody wallpaper knife. Initially, Wang refused to admit to the murder, but under the evidence, he confessed to the crime of killing and dismembering.
The same day, the police brought Wang to the scene for identification and found Xiaoli's torso remains. "When we captured Wang, he was strolling on the street. After the police revealed their identity, he was still defiant, asking why they were arresting him? We said to verify the situation. At the beginning, even with policy persuasion, he did not confess to the crime facts until various pieces of evidence were presented to him. He was shocked and admitted to killing the girl but did not confess to rape. Since the incident occurred several days ago, including during police interrogation, we did not see any sign of repentance in him," said the investigating officer.
The police explained that on the afternoon of January 26th, Wang happened to attend a wedding banquet where he drank more than 6 liang of strong liquor. On his way home, feeling tipsy, he suddenly saw Xiaoli and had malicious intentions. He lied to Xiaoli, saying he would take her up the mountain to look for wild chickens, deceiving her into the mountain gully where he attempted to molest her. After being rejected, Wang became angry and embarrassed, first punching the girl unconscious. Worried that the girl might wake up and cause trouble, he found a stone and smashed her repeatedly, killing Xiaoli.
The police have conducted an autopsy to further confirm the cause of Xiaoli's death. "Wang had previously slaughtered sheep and was quite familiar with the procedure. When confessing to the murder, his attitude was like slaughtering a sheep, which was simply too cruel!" said the investigating officer.
Currently, the criminal suspect Wang has been criminally detained, and the case is still under further investigation.
