Gmail's Chinese version has been updated to be consistent with the English version, including features such as the address book, colored labels, Talk invisibility, group chats, new emoticons, and more. The new version of Gmail has been available in the English version for some time. The new interface was developed using an entirely new base code, allowing for the quick addition of many new functions and integration with other Google applications. Currently, this version only supports Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2. New features include: color-coded labels, group chat, a richer set of emoticons, a new three-column contact management layout, as well as some smaller features such as new keyboard shortcuts, and the ability to bookmark a specific personal email from the browser.
