Chengdu Business Daily (reporter Bingyao Zhang) - On September 20, 2010, a bloody incident occurred in the urban management office located in the basement of Dashanping Subdistrict Office in Jiangyang District, Luzhou. Due to dissatisfaction with the law enforcement of the urban management personnel, Lin, who operated a fruit store on Wanshun Road in Jiangyang District, retaliated against the urban management officers with a knife (previously reported by Chengdu Business Daily). Recently, the Jiangyang District Court announced its verdict, sentencing Lin to one year in prison for intentional injury.

The court found that at around 10 PM on September 19, 2010, Lin's parents were involved in a dispute with urban management officers from the Dashanping Subdistrict Office due to operating their fruit business on Wanshun Road and occupying public space. At about 8 AM on September 20, Lin and his parents went to the urban management office to resolve the previous day's dispute. Due to a language misunderstanding, both parties got into a physical altercation during which Lin stabbed urban management officers Hu and Li with a knife he was carrying. After evaluation, Hu was determined to have sustained minor injuries, while Li had slight injuries.
