Step One: META Tag Optimization

We all know that META tags are very important for search rankings. Although their weight has decreased now, their importance still cannot be overlooked.

TITLE tag: I chose not to change it. Among META tags, the TITLE has the highest weight and is most valued by search engines. Frequent changes can easily lead to a reduction in ranking, and in severe cases, even result in being banned from the index. Therefore, the TITLE should be designed well during the initial stages of website construction.

KEYWORD tag: "Search Engine Optimization" was replaced with "SEO Training, SEO Service" because I wanted to optimize these two keywords, thus increasing the density of "SEO". This helps with optimizing "Shenzhen SEO".

DESCRIPTION tag: Similarly, "Search Engine Optimization" was replaced with "SEO Training, SEO Service". It's important not to over-optimize; the keyword density should ideally be between 2%-8%. Tools for checking density can be found on my website.

Step Two: Internal Page Optimization

As mentioned earlier, if META tags have been devalued, then page content has gained more weight, which is also the area we need to focus on optimizing.

The previous page content was too simple. To increase the relevance and density of the page's keywords, I added two sections: "Shenzhen SEO Service" and "Shenzhen SEO Training". Then, I directed the links to http://www.seo-0755.cn/SEOfuwu.html and http://www.seo-0755.cn/SEOpeixun.html respectively. These two pages are also the ones I want to optimize primarily.

Those who have done optimization know that search engines also value the footer of a page. Therefore, I added the copyright section here, including the keyword "Shenzhen SEO Training Institution", and linked directly to the homepage.

On the right side of the page, I also added a "Friendly Links" section, exchanging links with related websites. I believe this can also enhance the relevance of the page.

All the details discussed above still require further adjustments and improvements. The key to doing SEO is to be diligent, especially during the early stages of building a website. It’s best to update the website content daily, write more original articles, and attract spider crawls.

Step Three: Off-site Promotion

There are many methods for off-site promotion that we are familiar with, such as link exchanges, soft article promotion, BLOG promotion, and EMAIL promotion. Here, I will focus on discussing link exchanges.

There are many methods and techniques for doing link exchanges, and everyone probably has their own set of insights. Here, I will share some personal experiences regarding link exchanges:

First, define your goals. As a new site, your goals shouldn't be too high. Your only capital is being indexed by Baidu, so you shouldn't aim for those sites with good rankings and high PR, as the success rate would be very low. I choose to exchange links with sites that are at about my level or slightly higher. My criteria for linking: first, they must be indexed, second, PR > 0, third, no cheating.

Second, take the initiative. Of course, as a site without PR and not a great rank, you can't expect others to come to you actively. So, I choose to reach out to others proactively. There are many ways to do this. You can search for relevant websites using keywords, find their contact information, and request a link exchange. I follow the principle of making friends first and then exchanging links, which increases the success rate significantly.

Third, apply for links. What I mentioned earlier was taking the initiative to find others, but here I talk about others finding you. Of course, to make others find you, you need to promote yourself first. It's similar to writing soft articles. Try to highlight the advantages of your website, then post "Apply for Friendly Link" notices on large relevant forums and websites, leaving your personal contact information. Then, just wait for others to come knocking.

Of course, the key to doing SEO is to be diligent. The more frequently you move, the more frequently spiders crawl, and the faster your rankings rise.
