Adobe announced today that the online version of the PS program, "Photoshop Express," has opened for public testing.

As a Rich Internet Application (RIA), Photoshop Express provides 2GB of free storage space. Users can store, manage, edit, and share their photos online. They can also upload and download via social networking sites like Facebook, or showcase their work in galleries provided by Adobe.

In terms of photo editing, Photoshop Express does not aim for the professionalism of Photoshop but instead offers one-click simple operations. It can achieve effects such as Pop Color (color extraction), Sketch (sketching), Distort (distortion), etc. Even users without image editing experience can easily master these features.

Photoshop Express is built using Adobe's free open-source framework, Flex. It supports browsers such as IE, Firefox, and Safari, and requires the installation of Flash Player 9. Currently, it is only available in English, but after its official release, it will support multiple languages.
