Regarding whether or not to adjust some unhealthy content on the internet, Li Kaifu stated that within the limits allowed by law, Google will not make any subjective adjustments. "We are not judges; if we know it is something people are interested in, why should we hide it from them? If you search my name on Google, you will find information about me that isn't positive."
"We conducted tests with users in various countries and found that American users only spend 10 seconds looking at search results after searching, while Chinese internet users spend 30 to 60 seconds; also, American users only look at the top left corner of the page when searching, whereas Chinese internet users browse the entire webpage, including even the ads on the right side." Speaking about this interesting discovery, Li Kaifu humorously remarked that Chinese internet users are not just searching, but more like exploring.
Last week, Google global vice president Liu Yun stated at a conference on the development of small and medium-sized enterprise e-commerce in Hangzhou that Google aims to become a leader in the e-commerce market. In response, Li Kaifu said that Google is still focused on the search domain and does not plan to directly enter the e-commerce market.
