Regarding the issue of Baidu inclusion

I've been studying SEO for quite a while now, and I have consistently shared my SEO experiences with everyone. Studying SEO is all about experimenting, and I really want to tell those friends who are learning SEO: if you want to master a certain level of SEO skills, attending any training course will be useless. Of course, this is just my advice to fellow webmasters. Whether or not to follow it is up to you.

A few days ago, I gave a lecture at Tu Wang's place about SEO. To be honest, I really don't like the way many friends study SEO. Many people don't even know what Baidu Weight is, yet they start asking a lot of questions. This isn't good at all. Here's a simple analogy: if you're planning to pursue a girl to be your wife, you should at least know her name first, right? o(∩_∩)o...

Let's get to the point! Let's talk about the ultimate method to get indexed by Baidu.

Recently, Baidu has changed again, with some adjustments in its algorithm. I remember a friend once said something very classic, though I remember the meaning but not the exact words. The gist was that Baidu's evaluation of a website has changed significantly; initially, it was "human nature is inherently good," but now it's "human nature is inherently evil."

To elaborate, in the past, Baidu would index any site it found, regardless of quality, just to increase its records. After indexing, it would evaluate whether the site was good or bad. If it was bad, the site would receive fewer indexes and eventually get penalized; if it was good, it would continue to be indexed.

However, things are different now. Take a look at Baidu's news. They still boast about how many millions of web pages they have indexed and how much they add daily. But at the same time, there are more and more spam sites. If we define "spam sites" as those purely created for SEO experiments or sites with no value, I can say that 35%-40% of websites in China are spam sites. When we search for an article on Baidu, 2-3 out of the first ten pages are useless, let alone the ones further down.

Netizens are tired of repeated useless articles, and so is Baidu. Google, with its server capabilities, hasn't seen significant changes yet. Therefore, in October last year, there was the "most brutal algorithm change event" in history. Countless webmasters started cursing Baidu, and because of our "national curse," more and more people began to understand what SEO is. Oh, so this is SEO!

As a result, many webmasters suffered. A lot of new webmasters' sites were not being indexed by Baidu, leading them to repeatedly ask everywhere, "How can I get Baidu to index my site?" In fact, Baidu won't ignore new sites for its own development, but it refuses to index sites that are over-optimized. If you were running Baidu, wouldn't you also consider your own development?

Actually, new sites are easy to get indexed.

Many friends building websites these days use downloaded website source codes. After setting up a new site, I suggest avoiding any prominent SEO tactics. When building a site, keep one belief in mind: how can I make this site better serve my users? Make your users feel comfortable visiting your site.

Imagine, if a new site already has tons of ads, pop-ups, and copied content before it even has any original content, who would want to visit it? I wouldn't. Now, whenever I see a site with pop-ups, I block it immediately. It's annoying. There are so many websites in China; I can just visit others instead.

Many people say, "If I don't copy articles and build my own content, won't I die from exhaustion?" If you say that, you've already defined your site as a spam site. If I were working at Baidu, I could simply reject you by saying, "I don't want to be friends with spammers."

To get your site quickly indexed by Baidu, there are only two points:

1. Don't perform any SEO actions on your site until it gets indexed. You haven't even pursued the girl yet, so why are you talking about dumping her?

2. Post a few links on websites with high spider traffic, just enough for Baidu to know that your site exists.

Just these two points, take your time to digest them.

Also, whether it's Baidu or Google, they index your site based on the quality of your content, not the quantity. I've never seen a site that, once indexed, grows extremely fast.

Therefore, even if your site only has 2-3 articles, as long as they're original, it's fine. Once Baidu indexes your site, then you can slowly optimize it.
