The future TD-SCDMA service will use the 157 number segment. Because the phone supports dual-network standby, existing mobile users do not need to change their handsets when changing numbers.
The person also mentioned that initially, the main channel for launching TD-SCDMA numbers will be through China Mobile service halls. As for whether they will launch through channels such as Zhongfu Dianxin or Dixintong, Beijing Mobile does not currently have specific plans.
