In the cartoons or TV series we watched as children, laboratories and secret bases were always filled with all kinds of buttons. There might be a switch to activate a giant robot, or a knob to adjust its power output. The most thrilling of all would undoubtedly be the final red self-destruct button, which, once pressed, would start a countdown!
