Today, Qihoo officially announced that the 360 Security Guard would be separated and operate as an independent company. In response to this move, Zhou Hongyi denied the claim that it was for future convenient listing.

It is reported that the new company has received a capital injection of 360 million yuan from Qihoo's shareholders. Fu Sheng, the former head of 360 Security Guard, will serve as the general manager.

Zhou Hongyi said: "The reason for separating 360 Security Guard is due to the rampant spread of Trojan viruses currently, which requires comprehensive extermination.
