The Guilin trip ended on the evening of the 28th, and I returned to my lovely home. Considering the employees' travel fatigue, the company gave a 3-day holiday. (Cheer) From the end of March to the end of July, for a full 4 months, I learned a lot in "Fly Dream". I have never forgotten why I insisted on staying in my position at "Fly Dream", no matter how tired or pressured I was. I tried to bear it and slowly convinced myself to persevere! My mom just wants me to be happy. She always worries about me, knowing that I am stubborn and afraid that I will be wronged. Thank you, Dad, for giving me great spiritual support! Remember what my brother once taught me: every job is helpful for better choices in the future, so I must treat my current work with 100% enthusiasm! In fact, I have worked hard.
From the initial confusion to later being able to independently complete a task, I should have grown up, along with "Fly Dream". From the first time hosting a school event to gradually becoming familiar with and enjoying the process, others cannot see my happiness. At first, I just copied Ma's procedure, following the steps. Gradually... I made the entire scene more interactive and lively. Every time we did performance practice and saw the happy faces of elementary school students on and off the stage, I couldn't help but laugh; children's world is always so pure! No matter how unhappy I was when I went to the school, as soon as the live recording of the program started, I got excited, haha.
"Fly Dream" has a group of very good young actors. Although they are not old, each one has their own characteristics. Through repeated practical activities and outdoor shooting, I can see their progress. "Let Love Spread" and the Guilin trip revealed more aspects that are usually unseen.
On July 16th, 17th, and 18th, the filming of "Let Love Spread" took place. I remember very clearly, on the morning of the 16th, we filmed on the stairs of the Civic Center. It rained heavily and continuously. In the afternoon at the Garden Expo Park, it kept drizzling. The elementary school students who came to shoot were from different schools, fortunately, the parents were all reasonable. On the 17th and 18th, it was scorching sun, which tanned everyone. Especially on the 17th at Lotus Flower Mountain, climbing up and down the mountain exhausted us, and the staff had instant noodles for lunch. This was my second time filming with the crew, it was really hard, and there were many unexpected situations. It was very challenging, but I also learned a lot.
From July 21st to 28th, I went to Guilin for field research and filmed "Water Street Ballad". First, I want to say that I got even darker. Tingting, don't say I'm beyond saving... The scenery of Guilin is the best under heaven, it's really beautiful, making me feel like walking in a painting. We initially stayed at Yan Mountain Garden, and on the second day, we visited half of the garden. I visited the Republican era architecture of my idol Lin Huiyin and her husband Liang Sicheng. There was also the thousand-year-old wishing divine camphor tree. It is said that walking around the tree five times happily can pray for blessings for elders. I really walked around the tree five times happily at midnight. Principal Zhang introduced us to the Young Master Building and the Miss Building, where famous celebrities and literary giants lived, such as Yue Xi and Guo Moruo... Principal Zhang also told us many of their stories.
In the following few days, we filmed the MTV of "Water Street Ballad" in Xing'an Water Street and luckily witnessed the Lingqu Canal's charm.
On the evening of the 27th, at the Lingnan International Grand Hotel, the young actors from "Fly Dream" and the young actors from Xing'an Lingqu Singer Class jointly completed a gala with various forms of programs. The scene was very lively, and Director Lin directed orderly. I indulged in being a producer, regretfully, I was on the side stage, and the loud sound drowned out the walkie-talkie sounds. Sister Zhao was anxious about the order on-site, anxiously looking for actors all over the venue to solve emergencies. Xu was responsible for the main camera position, Teacher Xiao Zhu was responsible for the side camera position and the behind-the-scenes footage, and Director Lin watched the monitor... After the gala ended, Director Lin asked me how I felt, and I began to summarize and accumulate experience.
"Fly Dream" is where I grow up, allowing me to learn a lot. In terms of work, I still need to accumulate more experience while I'm young. I thank Directors Lin and Ma for their care, Teacher Xu's so-called favoritism, Sister Zhao's strong support, and the silent contributions of Sister Jiajin. Haha, there are people whose names I won't mention, but they know I am grateful.
