### Activities (Activity Content Services)
The Activity Content Service allows users to quickly access services from web pages. Typically, users copy and paste content from web pages, but in this case, it involves sending content from a webpage to a web application. For example, if a user sees a restaurant address on a page, they can send that address directly to a map service. In other scenarios, if a user finds an interesting article, they can use this feature to send part of the text to their blog. Users can also install or manage these activity services as needed.
### WebSlices (Website Subscription)
WebSlices is a new feature that allows users to view subscribed content without opening a website once they are connected to the internet. This feature seems similar to RSS Feeds. In Microsoft's demonstration, it was used for subscribing to weather forecasts.
### Favorites Bar (Favorites Bar)
The Favorites feature from IE7 has been expanded into a full Favorites Bar. Besides adding favorite websites, this bar can also store links to local files such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents.
### Automatic Crash Recovery (Automatic Crash Recovery)
Users of IE browsers often encounter browser crashes. After reopening IE, the previously viewed web pages are not saved, and users may not even know how to recover them. The Automatic Crash Recovery (ACR) feature is a significant improvement in IE 8. When the browser crashes, ACR automatically saves the pages the user was viewing and restores them when the browser is reopened.
### Improved Phishing Filter (Enhanced Anti-Phishing Filter)
This feature enhances the security of browsing by improving the ability to detect and block phishing attempts, protecting users from malicious websites.
