5 Ways to Attract Repeat Visitors to Your Website

A few days ago, I saw a store owner talking about this topic, and today I'd like to share my own insights with everyone.

I run a small shop that sells foreign language books (http://www.jiahewh.com/wangdian/), and after spending several nights painstakingly setting up the online store, of course I hope to attract more buyers' attention and increase popularity and sales. It would be even better if we could get more repeat customers. Easier said than done though. After half a year of trial and error, I have summarized a few methods to attract buyers to visit, which I would like to share with everyone.

1. Use the discount section for short-term promotions

Online shoppers love bargain hunting, and this is a good way to catch their eye. You can use short-term promotions to stimulate the impulse to buy. I've set up a "Discounted Items" section, where prices are generally around 30% of the market price. However, it's best to keep discounted items on display for only three days to a week, and update them regularly, so that buyers feel that the opportunity will pass quickly; the discounted products are always changing, which encourages buyers to visit my online store regularly. If you don't update your products for a long time, buyers may feel that there's no novelty and give up on making a purchase. This time, after upgrading to Shopex version 472, I found that in addition to discounts, other innovative promotional methods can be used in the future, such as considering giving away free gifts instead of directly discounting, or using coupons, encouraging users to come back next time with the coupon for further consumption, etc.
