The currently very popular Google, Baidu, and QQ have all been subject to much criticism and boycotts by netizens. As a result, there have appeared anti-Google alliances, anti-Baidu alliances, and even joint lawsuits against QQ. The purpose of these actions is not truly to oppose them; without Google, Baidu, and QQ, we would really have no idea what to do online. Their actions are merely meant to supervise these internet giants so that they can better provide services to the vast number of netizens.
