Step one: After the vacuum extraction in the system ends, remove the vacuum pump and replace it with a Freon steel cylinder. At this point, the three-way stop valve of the outdoor unit is in the middle position. The three-way repair valve is in the closed state.
Step two: Loosen the nut joint connected to the pipe connecting the three-way repair valve and the Freon steel cylinder.
Step three: Slightly open the bottle valve of the Freon steel cylinder, release the Freon, and expel the air in the Freon steel cylinder connecting pipe from the loosened joint nut. The expulsion time is 3-5 seconds.
Step four: Tighten the joint nut again, open the Freon bottle valve more widely, open the three-way repair valve, and charge Freon into the system. Pay attention to the pressure reading on the pressure vacuum gauge during charging. When the pressure reaches 0.45-0.5MPa (summer) or 0.2-0.25MPa (winter), close the refrigerant steel cylinder valve. Let the air conditioner continue to run for a while, and repeatedly fine-tune the amount of refrigerant injected according to the cooling effect of the air conditioner until satisfactory results are achieved.
Step five: When the air conditioner's cooling reaches satisfactory results, the Freon injection is completed. Rotate the valve stem of the three-way stop valve counterclockwise to the bottom with an Allen wrench to close the stop valve.
Step six: Close the Freon bottle valve, remove the connecting pipe on the three-way stop valve of the outdoor unit. Tighten all valve caps of the two-way stop valve and the three-way stop valve with an adjustable wrench. The entire fluorine-adding operation of the air conditioner is complete.
