On April 20, 1999, two Columbine high school students stormed into the campus and killed one teacher, 12 students with semi-automatic weapons, shotguns and a batch of explosives, then committed suicide. In addition, 26 others were injured.
At 11:19 that day, the two students came out of the school. One of them shouted "Come out! Come out!" and immediately shot at five students, causing two deaths.
