A bird flew over and ate a bean.
A shepherd walked over and picked up a bean.
The rooster stretched its neck, shook its comb, jumped onto a high slope, and sang at the top of its lungs: "Cock-a-doodle-doo... The king has donkey ears!"
In the wilderness, there grew a sturdy pea seedling. When the barber was killed, a tiny pea flower was quietly blooming, and a drop of bright red blood splashed onto the flower's core.
One day, the king summoned the barber to the palace because his hair had grown too long and he needed a haircut. Worried that the barber would reveal this terrible secret, after finishing the haircut, the king ordered the soldiers to stuff a towel into the barber's mouth, dragged him to the wilderness outside the city, and killed him.
Not long after, a green pod grew in the flower's core, inside which were three beans. They were transformed from the barber's blood and all remembered that terrible secret. However, they were tightly wrapped by the empty pod, unable to say a word.
The blood knew that the king had donkey ears, but the blood didn't speak. It only hid this terrifying secret in the pea flower's core.
Rain washed the bean into a stream. The stream water soaked the bean and also revealed the secret hidden inside it. The stream sang as it flowed into the river, and the river sang as it rushed towards the sea:
The shepherd returned to the village, intending to cook the bean, but the greedy rooster pounced over and pecked away the bean.
The bird smoothed its feathers, spread its wings, and flew up into the sky. The bird sang loudly in the sky: "Chirp chirp chirp... The king has donkey ears!"
All the roosters followed the song: "Cock-a-doodle-doo... The king has donkey ears!"
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh... The king has donkey ears!"
All the rivers joined in the song: "Whoosh whoosh whoosh... The king has donkey ears!"
This terrible secret thus spread through songs across thousands of mountains and waters, reaching every corner of the country.
Once upon a time, in a distant land, there lived a king with donkey ears. Every day, the king wore his crown, so no one but himself knew that he had donkey ears.
Soon, the green pod turned yellow, and three round beans bounced out of it.
All the birds followed the song: "Chirp chirp chirp... The king has donkey ears!"
Hearing the song, all the common people in the country laughed. Hahaha, hahaha, the laughter was so loud and frightening that it collapsed the king's palace.
A shower fell, washing away a bean.
What about the king? The king hid in the palace and dared not come out. When the palace collapsed, it crushed the king to death.
