Hello everyone, today Shanghai SEO (SWJ) participated in the training lecture for novice webmasters (Part 4) on website advertising alliance information hosted by Tuwang ADMIN5. The original content of the training lecture is as follows:

Let me introduce myself. My name is Qiangzi.

Here, I would like to share my years of experience as a webmaster with all of you regarding website advertising and alliance information. What I say may not be 100% correct, so I welcome input from all webmasters.

Different types of websites should place different types of ads to maximize the advantages of website resources and achieve better benefits.

Personal websites are mainly categorized into industry sites, resource information sites, and entertainment sites.

Entertainment sites generally make money through alliances.

Industry sites, business sites, game sites, and dating sites mainly earn money by attracting members.

Currently, about 80% of webmasters focus on entertainment sites.

I will focus on introducing entertainment sites.

Literary novel sites

1. Monthly subscription ads, hehe. There are fewer monthly subscriptions now, but they still exist.

As long as your traffic is good (daily IP over 10,000), advertisers will usually come to you to do their monthly subscription ads.

For example, the current "Resistance War" game advertisers are constantly looking for webmasters through some alliance platforms to do monthly subscription ads.

2. First video ads

The data has significantly decreased now due to strict monitoring,

and there are too many public service advertisements.

However, webmasters can still try them out.

Public service advertisements do not pay,

and many friends have said,

"Why is the effect not good? The data is much worse than the website traffic."

I suggest placing the advertisement inside the article reading page.

When readers finish reading the content, the ad will have finished playing,

and they only count the complete playback.

Alliance disadvantages include that they generally require an ICP filing certificate.

If you want to join their alliance, it's recommended to file first.

3. Dangdang Alliance

Suitable for literary sites, recommending readers to buy novels, their commission is still quite good.

4. Baidu Theme Promotion

If your account passes Baidu Theme Promotion, it is recommended to focus on promoting it. However, their review process is quite strict, and generally, websites don't get approved.

5. GG Ads

I guess most webmasters on Earth know this alliance.

However, the unit price for novel sites is relatively low.

It's not recommended to heavily invest in prime advertising spots.

But their browser recommendation ads can still be done.

Common promotions include:

"The system has detected that the IE browser you are using has security vulnerabilities. We strongly recommend that you use the fastest, safest, and most stable browser in the Windows operating system: FireFox browser. Please click to download."

"System alert: The version of the IE browser you are using is too low, which is very unsafe and prone to virus infections! We recommend installing the new browser: FireFox browser 2.0. Click to download!"

Such methods are probably used by many webmasters and the effects are still good.

They work well for novices, but old hands generally don't believe them, nor does anyone click on them.

6. SOGOU Ads

SOGOU has a relatively high unit price, up to 0.5 yuan per click, but this price varies by time period.

A disadvantage is that, like Baidu Theme Promotion, it's hard to pass the review.

7. QQ Coin Ads

Now, Shanshan Alliance, 733 Alliance, and other alliances are doing this.

Shanshan Alliance was established earlier, and initially, it was quite good.

In July-August 2007, a site with 30,000 IPs could easily get 5,000-6,000 clicks per day.

Shuishui Nianhua:

Don't do Shanshan Alliance anymore; they don't pay now.

Having 600 clicks for 10,000 IPs is considered good, and now basically, all of them deduct quantities.

The extent of deduction is related to their registration channels. Good channels result in higher mobile registration conversion rates, more backend click data, and vice versa.

8. Ali Mama Ads

Advertisers invest considerable funds in promotion, but their marketing methods feel somewhat like pyramid schemes.

The more downlines you recruit, the better your income. They don't have customer service QQ or hotline services.

I've Flown Over:

There's Wangwang.

Many webmasters probably don't like this way.

9. Pop-up Ads

It's suggested to only place pop-ups on the homepage.

For internal pages, set Cookies codes.

Among those I've done, Yite Alliance is considered good.

Through long-term data observation and comparison, their volume is considered reasonable.

The downside is the lack of COOKIES restrictions.

For example, if you see a pop-up ad on one page, and then see the same ad popping up on another page, they don't count the second pop-up.

It's suggested to set automatic looping playback in the backend.

Each pop-up ad should be different, or you can set your own Cookies code.

Picture Sites

1. Mainly promote picture-click ads

For instance, BaoMiHua MOP Alliance, Qihu Alliance, and YiTe's 6 Rooms Ads.

These ads easily attract internet users' attention, and the effects are very good.

A downside is that some alliances deduct quantities heavily, so you can compare prices and data, then choose to promote the advertisers you think are effective.

2. Monthly Subscription Ads

For example, the previously mentioned "Resistance War" game ads.

You don't necessarily have to wait for advertisers to come to you.

You can actively find advertising alliance providers.

As long as you have traffic, and it's of high quality,

Where can you contact the advertiser for "Resistance War"?

Advertisers generally like it.

Also, safety equipment monthly subscription ads, sexual health product ads, but these types of ads are strictly monitored by the state, personally, I suggest minimizing them.

You'll only get paid after meeting certain conditions.

4. Picture Ringtone Mobile Sending Ads

For example, Bazhang Alliance, just add a JS code.

Doesn't occupy ad space, and the effect is still pretty good.

High-traffic sites have some webmasters sending 200 messages a day.

Other alliances like Wuhan Evan Technology also offer this service, though I haven't tried it, so I'm not sure about the effect.

5. QQ Coin Ads

Already covered

Cola:

Seems repetitive.

Shouldn't we open the floor for questions?

Hehe, the first one was literature-related.

This one is picture-related, different.

I run a picture site.

If you're running a junk site and don't want to attract repeat visitors,

It's suggested to use the floating 359*249 code, which works pretty well.

Ou Shu Newbie, please continue quickly.

Cola:

Same type, let's talk about industry sites.

Ren Woxing:

733.com doesn't pay, scam, don't do it.

If you want repeat customers,

Use the 200*130 bottom-right corner floating ad.

Relatively speaking, the effect is also pretty good.

User 123995998 has left the group.

Qiangzi 14:57:29

760*80 468*60 BANNER banner ads generally have little effect, these positions are better suited for picture-click ads.

6 Pop-up Ads

Yite Alliance, Yitian Alliance, Jiuying Alliance, ADS8 Alliance, etc., provide such ads. However, some alliances heavily deduct quantities.

7 Asian Dating

An old alliance, its credibility has been good for several years,

Now it's controlled quite strictly. If your picture site contains pornographic adult language, they may consider it as using pornography to promote and risk being banned. It's suggested to cautiously promote.

8 GG Ad Alliance

For picture sites, the unit price of this type of ad is relatively low, reaching as low as 0.001 per impression. It's not recommended to heavily invest in prime advertising spots. Picture sites can still do Baidu Theme Promotion and SOGOU Ads, which are quite good.

Video/Movie Sites

I won't repeat the possible alliances since it would waste your time.

I'll just highlight a few key points.

GG Ads

Generally, it's recommended to guide users towards Firefox browser recommendations or directly place the code.

Some webmasters report that movie sites doing GG might get banned,

but I did it for months without any issues.

Maybe because my traffic was too small.

First Video Ads

It's suggested to place these ads on the movie play page, reasons are no longer repeated.

QQ Sites

Now, QQ sites are probably what many webmasters are doing.

Perhaps because BAIDU favors QQ sites, they get indexed quickly, making it easy for webmasters to gain traffic.

It's recommended to focus on promoting QQ coin ads and QQ alliance ads.

QQ alliance reached its peak at the end of 2005.

Many webmasters earned between 10,000 to 100,000 RMB per month through QQ alliance.

Now, probably not many people are doing this alliance.

But QQ sites can focus on promoting this business.

That's because you haven't optimized well.

QQ sites are advised to minimize GG ads, as there are too many invalid QQ coin clicks.

Unconventional methods mainly include guiding techniques, cheating techniques, virus techniques, forced clicking techniques...

...

The lecture continues, but Shanghai SEO (SWJ) had to leave early due to some affairs. If you have the remaining records, please contact me to supplement them.
