[Air Ticket Issue] Taipei - Kinmen - Xiamen
Question:
■ Including taxes and visa fees, approximately how much would it cost to fly directly from Taipei to Xiamen?
■ Would it save a lot of money if I fly from Taipei to Kinmen first and then take a boat to Xiamen? About how much?
1. One adult, economy class, one way
2. Departure around mid-September
3. My Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents is still valid
■ Another question:
Why are there such big differences in ticket prices (from 3000 to 6000 NT dollars) for direct flights from Taipei to Xiamen with the same class and airline? What causes these differences?
Considering the cost, I hope to find a more economical way to get to Xiamen, and I am okay with spending more time.

1. Direct flight to Xiamen: 3263 + 1092 (tax) = 4355
2. Small Three Links package ticket for Kinmen-Xiamen: 3100 + 100 (port cleaning fee) = 3200
3. Additional endorsement for Mainland Travel Permit: 500 NT dollars
The cheaper option is the Small Three Links, which can save 1155 NT dollars.
