On August 22nd, "TianxingdaoABC1" posted on Tianya Forums with the title "Unbelievable arrogance: the director of the Tax Bureau arranges for more than a dozen members of his own family to work in the Tax Bureau." Since August 16th, he had already posted five identical threads on the forum accusing Li Zhaochang, who served as the director of the Xingtai City State Taxation Bureau, of nepotism.
The post reads: "Li Zhaochang, former director of the Xingtai City State Taxation Bureau in Hebei Province, has been serving as the deputy inspector of the Hebei Provincial State Taxation Bureau since January 2008, yet he has arranged for more than a dozen members of his own family to work in the Tax Bureau, enjoying the benefits of being civil servants..."
In addition, "TianxingdaoABC1" also pointed out that several other relatives of Li Zhaochang, including nieces, nephews, and cousins, were also arranged to work in the tax system.
Regarding this matter, on the 24th, reporters verified from various sources that the identity information listed in this list is not baseless. At least four individuals' identities have been confirmed. On the 23rd, reporters requested an interview with Li Zhaochang through the director's office of the Hebei Provincial State Taxation Bureau. A staff member revealed that Li Zhaochang was out and "would not return within two days."
