According to reports, in mid-May, I learned from the Gaosha Town Government of Dongkou County that the town has actively promoted mechanized rice seedling cultivation and transplanting, which timely alleviated the contradiction of insufficient rural labor force. The area for early rice has been confirmed at more than 50,000 mu (approximately 3,333 hectares).
The Dongkou County Agricultural Machinery Bureau, focusing on developing modern agriculture and enhancing agricultural mechanization levels, has organized agricultural machinery technicians to conduct promotional services regarding the agricultural machinery purchase subsidy policy and machinery technology in various towns since the beginning of this year. They have guided farmers to enthusiastically purchase machinery. The bureau has also focused on technical training to improve the operational skills of machinery operators and conducted full-process quality tracking surveys on agricultural equipment. A complaint station for agricultural machinery product quality has been set up with dedicated personnel responsible for handling quality complaints.
At the same time, active measures have been taken to support the development of three agricultural machinery professional cooperatives. These include the "Tianyuan Management Knife Series" cooperative, which has 213 members and owns 567 sets of various types of agricultural machinery, with total assets reaching 20 million yuan. According to statistics, in recent years, nearly 40,000 advanced and applicable types of agricultural machinery have been promoted throughout the county. More than 1,052 large-scale agricultural machinery households have been cultivated, and over 18,000 agricultural machinery personnel have been trained. For two consecutive years, the county has received the title of Advanced Unit in Agricultural Mechanization Work in the whole province.
