The term "online store agency" refers to certain websites that provide online wholesale services or wholesalers that can supply bulk goods, who reach agreements with individuals wanting to engage in online store consignment sales. These agencies provide product images and other data (not physical goods) to the consignees and offer products at a consignment price for the online store agents to sell. Generally, the online store consignee places the product images and data provided by the wholesale website onto their own online store for sale. After making a sale, they notify the wholesale website to ship the product on their behalf. The goods are shipped directly from the wholesale site to the buyer of the online store consignee, meaning the consignee does not physically see the sold goods during this process. Additionally, after-sales service for the consigned products is also handled by the wholesale website.
