In the office, most people shy away from what animal? Bad temper, the boss will be like a fire-breathing dinosaur. Needless to say. However, there are many people whose mouths do not emit fire, but their stomachs have fire, and once they open their mouths, an odor is scattered. Most of them are people with both liver and stomach fire. Once they speak, the tone cannot hide the visceral heat, making everything seem big or small. In fact, this condition is absolutely treatable.
Do not think that bad breath is a trivial matter to ignore. In fact, bad breath can reflect visceral imbalances and may also be a symptom of oral diseases such as tooth decay or sinusitis. If you are unfortunate enough to face complaints about bad breath, the best course of action is self-reflection. Is it because you frequently stay up late, resulting in excessive anger? Is there an unresolved problem within your body?
Liver-heat type: bad breath
Bad breath can be divided into three types according to spontaneous kidney function: liver-heat, Wei Huo, and hybrid (i.e., both liver and stomach fire).
The type of bad breath associated with liver heat occurs when the liver is overheated. Perhaps you do not understand how the liver is related to heat? The simplest explanation is that people with liver heat often experience dry mouth; lack of moisture in the mouth naturally increases bacteria, leading to bad breath once they open their mouths.
Where does liver heat come from? There are at least two culprits: (a) staying up late; (b) consuming heat-inducing foods. These two reasons commonly lead to liver congestion, which traditional Chinese medicine refers to as "brush set."
When people stay up late, they disrupt their normal schedule and fail to rest and detoxify the liver on track. As a result, the liver has to work overtime, accumulating impurities and toxins in the body. This undoubtedly increases the burden on the liver itself. According to the theory of viscera, the liver is wood, and the kidneys are water. Aquatic wood means that when anger rises, the renal water decreases. The liver and kidneys may seem independent like wind horses cattle, but in reality, they are closely related. When a person stays up late, not only does anger rise, but the water in the kidneys also decreases.
Medication involves a two-pronged approach of food and medicine. First, herbs such as chrysanthemum, Xihuangcao, Prunella, white peony root, etc., can be fried together to calm liver heat and consumed daily. Additionally, items like Dendrobium Zhuojia Yin play a role in nourishing the kidneys and balancing the liver and kidneys.
If the liver is too hot, a pot of water with white daisy, Prunella, and peony can be consumed daily as water. If it is too bitter, honey can be added to reduce the bitterness. Another option is homemade mouthwash using the above prescription in a teapot, adding Morus alba (clearing lung heat), especially for smokers.
For diet, carrots, water chestnuts, sugarcane, plus Sydney in a pot of water can be consumed. This method is slightly cold in nature, so those with weak stomachs should not drink excessively, but it is well-suited for those with real internal heat.
