Twenty-six Sha in Feng Shui for Home
(I) Reflection Sha
Reflection Sha is related to sunlight. If the house is near the seaside, seawater can be a reflection sha because sunlight reflects off the water surface, making the undulating seawater shimmer with golden light. When this light shines into the residence, it may cause people to become dull-minded and lose focus. Another type of reflection sha occurs in city centers or commercial areas where glass facades reflect light onto the building you live in, thus committing the reflection sha. Reflection Sha can lead to bloody disasters or collision injuries.
(II) Cutting Feet Sha
Cutting feet sha is rarely seen in city centers but more common in suburban mountain sides or seashores. As described in "Mountain Dragon Language Class Theory": "Cutting feet water, water adheres before the acupoint, stepping on feet while walking." This means that the building is close to the water's edge, giving a sense of water pressing against the acupoint (large buildings or houses). When fortune comes, one should take advantage of this time to advance and make money, but it won't last long.
There is no fixed method to resolve cutting feet sha because its characteristic is fluctuating luck. During good times, one can become extremely wealthy and noble, but during bad times, one may fall from grace drastically. One resolution method is to place an Eight White Jade at the prosperous position, but this position changes every year, so attention is needed.
(III) Sickle Sha
Commonly believed to be formed by overpasses because sometimes their shapes resemble sickles. However, sickle sha doesn't necessarily come from overpasses; there are also ground-level sickle shas. These are formed by small hills and roads combining together, specifically by curved roads on flat land, which have the same destructive power and can cause bloody disasters. By coordinating with the auspiciousness and inauspiciousness of Xuan Kong stars, the evil nature of sickle sha can be resolved.
Resolution for Sickle Sha: Placing a pair of copper horses and Five Emperors White Jade in the auspicious direction can resolve this sha.
(IV) Lonely Wind Sha
As the saying goes, "A solitary tall building breeds arrogance," referring to a building whose front Zhu Que, back Xuan Wu, left Qing Long, and right Bai Hu lack backing mountains or large buildings. Even if there are only small mountains, it still represents an isolated peak standing alone. An ancient text states, "Wind blowing on the head causes descendants to worry." In commercial areas, one can find such instances. Whenever lonely peak sha is committed, one cannot receive help from friends, children may be disrespectful or leave far away, such as moving abroad. Resolution for Lonely Peak Sha: Simply placing a Ming spell gourd and copper gourd at the auspicious or prosperous position can resolve the lonely peak sha, ensuring family unity and harmony.
(V) Gun Sha
This is an intangible kind of energy. As the saying goes, "A straight road is like a gun," meaning that if there is a straight corridor directly facing your home’s entrance, it commits the gun sha. Additionally, bamboo poles for drying clothes outside the window also belong to the category of gun sha.
