Photosynth - Microsoft's picture project

The Photosynth project provides software that can automatically generate 3D models from photos. This software can automatically analyze a set of photos of a certain object or scene taken at arbitrary angles, times, and showing either parts or the entirety. It intelligently identifies the spatial relationships between each photo, thus generating a 3D model that can be freely rotated and examined.
