Comics: The Formation of Gang Fights, Robbery Son, Mother Receives Advice and Charges
(Reporter contributors: Wang Na, Li Shuying) A common family involved in gangs, but gangs like this are still somewhat surprising! An 18-year-old top school student became a major member of the gang fights and robberies, while his 44-year-old mother not only did not stop him, but also bought guns for her son to participate in gang activities, and even paid allegation fees to help cover their daily expenses.
Recently, the Futian District Prosecutor’s Office prosecuted Xu Moumou, Moumou, Peng Moumou, and others suspected of robbery. Yang Moumou (Xu Moumou’s mother) was sentenced in the second trial for illegal possession of firearms, and both mother and son were jailed.
Case Description:
Adolescent Delinquent Gangs, Mother Goes So Far as to Provide Firearms
The gang was well-organized with clear division of labor. Xu Moumou himself served as the main figure, collecting monthly fees of 100 to 150 yuan per person from the members and providing assistance in inventory management. The gang had its own set of rules and regulations, including engraving if gang members engaged in battles with outsiders led by Xu Moumou. The crimes committed by the gang members involved looking for targets, providing tools for committing crimes, and engaging in gang diplomacy.
Defendant Yang Moumou, 44 years old and the mother of Xu Moumou, knowingly established an illegal gang that frequently engaged in fights. Not only did she fail to discipline her son strictly, but she also bought decommissioned firearms for her son, facilitating complex gang diplomacy and treating all gang members as her own children.
In July 2010, the police located the residence of defendant Xu Moumou in Meilin and arrested him along with other defendants. On the scene, they seized three non-military firearms illegally purchased and stored in Xu Moumou's bedroom (including one whose performance has been lost, and the other two identified as constituting air-powered gun replicas used for firing projectiles, with abrasion force). They also seized a number of knives, nunchaku, handcuffs, imitation guns, and ammunition active in the abode.
Typical Case: Robbery Retaliation Exercise Before Aboriginal Incident
Before Qingming in 2010, at a city school, the victim accidentally hit Xu Moumou's girlfriend. Xu Moumou reported this incident to Shimou, who harbored resentment, leading to the idea of teaching Shimou a lesson and looting him.
On April 4, 2010, actor Xu Moumou gathered his associates accused Moumou (15 years), Peng Moumou (19 years), Moumou (15 years old, handled separately) to plan teaching Shimou a lesson and robbing him. They made a clear analysis of the activity, provided by actor Xu Moumou tools of abomination and were responsible for bunco. Moumou played grounds to lure Shimou to a remote area. Defendants Moumou and Peng Moumou threatened Shimou with a knife and robbed his property. Then a few people exercised, and Xu Moumou's mother Yang Moumou was also at home during the exercise.
At 15 am the next day, defendants Xu Moumou, Moumou, Peng Moumou, and Moumou, along with Du Moumou (18 years old, handled separately), followed the plan in the Futian Area architecture stairs, armed with a knife, and robbed the victim Shimou of a Nokia mobile phone (valued at 1845 yuan) and a PHS mobile phone Samsung cast (value cannot be identified).
At night, accused Xu Moumou sold the stolen Nokia phone for 600 yuan.
