Like a superstar undoubtedly comes with its perks. They get to appear in videos, have beautiful appearances, release albums, travel the world, attend award shows, and endorse products and solutions. All of this is great, but I believe one of the best advantages is the ability to give back and support special causes that mean something to them. The latest superstar to contribute to a worthy charity initiative? Kristen Stewart.

The Twilight series actress recently donated a couple of custom-designed Keds sneakers to Shoe Revolt.

Shoe Revolt is a non-profit initiative aimed at educating teens about the issue of human trafficking, a problem that exploits youth and places them in dangerous situations. Her donation will help fund numerous programs under the Shoe Revolt umbrella.

In a past interview with Vogue magazine, Kristen admitted that she hoped to find a way to develop a program that fights against human trafficking offenses:

After thinking carefully, rationally, about how best to put her personal resources to use, she came up with a plan—inspired by her research into the plight of runaways caught in the sex trade—to establish a multi-level system of halfway houses for people who want to recover and get back on their feet. "That would be amazing," she affirms. "Right now, it’s the thing I feel most connected to."

I believe it's an excellent charity and I think it's great that Kristen is donating to a cause that could help many of her younger fans. What do you think about Kristen’s latest charitable effort?
