I. Leadership Thinking
Resolutely implement the Party's education policy, making educational work the core of all tasks. Focus on improving educational quality while continuously developing new teaching methods to enliven classroom atmospheres and apply flexible teaching strategies. Prioritize cultivating students' various skills and lifelong learning abilities. Carefully study the "New Curriculum Standards" and earnestly implement them.
Teaching Objectives
Based on last semester’s work summary and student performance, identify gaps in my teaching methods and adopt targeted educational approaches for different students. Our class still struggles primarily with mathematics, so I will invest more effort into math instruction. For high-ability students like Liu Xingchen, Wu Simiao, and Guo Quan, I will provide advanced analytical questions after they’ve mastered basic knowledge to enhance their comprehensive application skills and problem-solving abilities. For mid-level students, the focus will be on ensuring a solid grasp of basic knowledge with correct application, placing special emphasis on this group to eliminate failing grades.
As the grade level advances, the learning focus also changes, necessitating timely improvements and adjustments in teaching methods.
1. Personal Learning
With limited teaching experience, I will humbly learn from experienced teachers around me, adopting good teaching experiences, methods, and language. In line with the requirements of the "New Curriculum Standards," I will actively seek external advice to enrich my teaching mindset. Additionally, I will continuously enhance my own learning by studying advanced scientific technology and emerging topics to satisfy students' curiosity and thirst for knowledge.
2. Lesson Preparation
Lesson preparation is the prerequisite for effective teaching. Without thorough preparation, it is impossible to achieve efficiency in the classroom or improve quality. This semester, I will adhere to the principle of “preparing the entire book and organizing the flow of ideas; preparing each lesson with a focus on key points.” When preparing math lessons, I will “address difficulties, seek methods; do exercises, differentiate levels.” For Chinese lessons, I will “prepare background information, broaden perspectives; practice speaking first, then writing.” While preparing the overall direction, I will meticulously prepare every detail, as handling details is the key to success.
3. Teaching
Teaching is the core of educational work. To achieve good results and improve teaching quality, it is essential to make the most of the 40 minutes in class. First, maintain enthusiasm. A well-prepared emotional state can stimulate brain activity, enhancing students' attention and analytical abilities. Emotions are contagious, so teachers must display sufficient vitality in the classroom. During the lecture, focus on key and difficult points, using language that is closest to the students yet clear and concise. Highlight the key points while paying attention to students' responses. Reinforce any knowledge that students have not fully understood until the current lesson's content is completely resolved within the class period.
4. Student Guidance
I will fully utilize morning study sessions and self-study time, providing tiered guidance to students to ensure no instructional opportunity is wasted. I will focus on individual breakthroughs with key students. At the same time, teaching requires patience, love, diligence, and visible results.
5. Professional Development
Actively participate in various learning activities organized by the school, promote scientific research activities, and conscientiously engage in professional development.
