ECNS, August 6 -- According to United Press International, an Israeli woman chartered the business class of a flight from Paris to Israel in order to travel with her beloved dog so that it could accompany her.
This woman named Rivka told reporters that she could not bear to let her 8-year-old dog be locked in a cage and fly for such a long time in the cargo hold.
"It's my baby, so I asked the airline to rent out their business class and paid $32,000 to ensure that my dog could sit with me during the whole journey," Rivka said.
Rivka indicated that this was her first trip with her dog since 2006. Her dog had previously suffered from severe anxiety after being left alone in the cargo hold. Therefore, she decided this time to charter the entire business class so that her dog could accompany her through the four-hour flight.
