Ningbo Weier Electric Co., Ltd., a high-tech enterprise founded only a year ago in Lanjiang Subdistrict, has recently collaborated with Huazhong University of Science and Technology to successfully develop the WLY100LD diode-pumped YAG laser marking machine through technological breakthroughs. This achievement fills a domestic gap and can replace expensive imported products, presenting an exceptionally broad market prospect. There are quite a few enterprises in Lanjiang Subdistrict that develop such high-tech new products.
Since the beginning of this year, many enterprises in Lanjiang Subdistrict have enhanced their sustainable development competitiveness by improving their independent innovation capabilities, achieving significant results. According to statistics provided by the Municipal Economic Development Bureau, as of the end of November this year, the city has developed 211 industrial new products in total, among which Lanjiang Subdistrict has completed 32, ranking first in the city, with a new product output value of 8.9 billion yuan, including over 7.3 billion yuan at or above the Ningbo municipal level.
Faced with increasingly fierce market competition, Lanjiang Subdistrict has also increased its reward intensity for enterprise scientific and technological innovation, supporting enterprises in carrying out scientific and technological innovation and continuously improving the level of new product research and development. This year, 28 enterprises in the subdistrict have carried out technical renovation projects, among which 10 enterprises have invested more than ten million yuan in technical renovation. Currently, three enterprises' newly developed products have obtained the title of Ningbo municipal famous brand products, and two enterprises respectively became provincial and Ningbo municipal high-tech enterprises. Currently, many enterprises above the designated size in the subdistrict have established new product R&D institutions, some of which are continuously being improved. For example, under the guidance of experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ningbo Jiayin Mechatronics Technology Co., Ltd. has recently developed the new product JYZK01-08 wireless intelligent remote control switch, achieving good economic benefits. Huachang Electrical Manufacturing Co., Ltd. cooperated with Zhejiang University to successfully develop the automobile tire pressure alarm, filling the gap of no tire pressure alarm for mid-low range cars.
