Brief Introduction of Furniture Spray Room: The furniture spray room mainly refers to the place for spraying paint on the surface of an object and drying the paint. According to different objects, such as furniture, sheet metal, etc., color or glossy products are added to their surfaces. Based on the airflow direction, spray rooms can be divided into three types:

1. Cross-flow Spray Room: Airflow flows from one end of the room to the other. This type is low-cost and easy to install. However, its disadvantage is that the mist moves along the side of the body, and the fog cannot be removed around the operator's face, making the working environment less than satisfactory.

2. Side Down-draft Spray Room: Air enters the spray room through the filter device on the ceiling and is discharged from the base of the side wall. This is a mid-priced spray room. Since the mist is away from the object itself and can be removed around the operator, both the spray effect and the working environment are relatively ideal.

3. Full Down-draft Spray Room: It represents the most advanced technology today. Air enters from the ceiling and is discharged to the outside through the pit or basement. This exhaust method can achieve a cleaner spray process and a safer working environment. However, it has high costs and occupies more space.

According to the paint mist treatment method, spray rooms can be divided into two categories: dry spray room and wet spray room (water treatment). The dry treatment is used the most in normally used spray rooms, so the filtration system (mainly referring to primary and secondary filtration cotton) needs regular inspection and replacement; otherwise, it may affect the quality of spray painting or even cause a fire. With the further development of science and technology, the way to handle excess paint mist becomes increasingly advanced. Now many high-end cars use water-treated spray rooms, which dissolve the excess paint mist in water, achieving significant progress in handling paint mist.

The 3 Keys of Exhaust-type Spray Room:

1. Ventilation - The key to the operation of the exhaust-type spray room.

2. Filtration - Filters out small particles in the air.

3. Exhaust - Discharge waste air and intake new air.

Principle: Air (outdoor air) - Spray room door filter cloth - Spray table - Use spray equipment to spray - Exhaust fan (discharge generated paint mist).

This type of spray room still has weaknesses:

1. Filter cloth is easily damaged, and dust can easily enter.

2. It is easy to bring unclean outdoor air inside.

3. Not environmentally friendly and wastes paint.

4. Needs frequent cleaning, and the dirt on the filter cloth should be regularly removed.

A new type of spray room - full pressure spray room - has already appeared and is widely used in China's furniture industry. The basic principle of the full-pressure spray room is the same as the exhaust-type spray room, but it uses the directivity of pressure, using pressure to spray vertically from top to bottom, making the spray more precise. In terms of hardware, there is a main machine room, replacing the filter cloth with "multi-layer filter cotton" for higher air cleanliness; infrared lamps are used to save drying time; when discharging excess paint mist, water curtains are used for more environmental protection.

Furniture Spray Application Division:

1. Topcoat Spray Room requires no dust and good ventilation.

2. Primer Spray Room has lower requirements for the working environment.

Working Principle of Furniture Spray Room:

1. During spraying, external air passes through the initial filter at the inlet, then sent by the blower into the paint room static pressure chamber. After passing through the top filter cotton for secondary filtration, it evenly flows into the spray room work area, forming a wind curtain around the workpiece. At this point, the indoor air velocity is 0.3 m/s, and the paint mist produced during spraying will not stay in the operator's breathing zone but quickly descends with the airflow. The airflow is filtered by the water at the bottom and discharged through the exhaust duct at a high altitude.

2. Working Principle of Furniture Bake Paint Room: Infrared heating: Organic coatings generally have strong absorption capabilities for infrared rays, especially far-infrared rays. Therefore, infrared rays have a very significant effect on drying the coating, promoting the coating to solidify quickly, with good quality and no pinholes or bubbles.

3. Air Purification System: The filtration system uses two layers of filters. The coarse filter layer effectively captures dust particles larger than 10um, while the precision high-efficiency filter layer has multiple layers and can effectively capture dust particles larger than 4um. The entire filtration system has a large dust capacity, low resistance, long service life, and a filtration efficiency of over 98%.

4. Wind Circulation System: The wind circulation system consists of a complete set of units. The unit is equipped with a group of fans, with 2 3KW fans supplying air, with a total air volume of 24,000 square meters, making the indoor air velocity 0.3 m/s, ensuring rapid air circulation indoors and no residual paint mist, guaranteeing the health of the operators and the spray effect. The fan uses Siemens technology-produced spray and bake paint room dedicated air-conditioning style fans, compact structure, low power consumption, stable performance.

5. Paint Mist Treatment System: The paint mist treatment uses water filtration, with low usage costs, ideal paint mist adsorption, and good effects. The indoor noise conforms to GBJ87-85 "Industrial Enterprise Noise Control Design Standard", not exceeding 85 decibels.

In the current development status and working structure principle in China, the medium-low-end prices range from 22,000 to 60,000 yuan, and the high-end prices range from 60,000 to 150,000 yuan, with various product types. The main circulating types include outdoor rainproof type bake paint room, fuel high-temperature bake paint room, teaching type spray bake paint room, large channel type bake paint room, environmental protection type bake paint room, infrared bake paint room, and standard type bake paint room, each with different functions. Generally, bake paint rooms adopt a modular structure, with the room body using plug-and-play insulated spray-plastic wall panels, with good sealing and insulation performance. The side of the room body is equipped with a work door for easy access for staff, aluminum alloy bordered doors, with observation windows in the middle of the door, allowing real-time observation of the dynamics inside the room. Auxiliary equipment inside the bake paint room also continues to emerge, with higher usage rates including fans, burners, lighting lamps, floorboards, filter cotton, electrical control boxes, occurrence rooms, bake paint lamps, high-efficiency heat energy converters, etc. Of course, specific configurations and models depend on the overall planning of automotive service institutions.

Structure Principle:

1. Principle and Structure: The entire structure is modular, with the room body using plug-and-play insulated spray-plastic wall panels, with good sealing and insulation performance. Aluminum alloy bordered doors, with observation windows in the middle of the door, allowing real-time observation of the dynamics inside the room. The side of the room body is equipped with a work door for easy access for staff. High-quality stainless steel heat exchangers, with high heat exchange efficiency and long service life. Low-noise, high-volume imported fans are selected to ensure perfect spray effects. The spray room provides (1) a clean working environment; (2) fully collects paint mist. The configuration of the spray-bake room depends on the size, shape, weight, and production guidelines of the workpiece, with various methods: open or closed, continuous or intermittent, rotating or fixed workpieces, single-side or double-side spraying. In recent years, oil-curtain spray rooms and down-draft spray rooms have also developed. Structurally, it should include: air supply filtration system, workpiece hanging (conveyance, rotation) device, water curtain system, water wash system, exhaust system, water tank, lighting device, and room body. The principle of paint mist recovery: Paint mist recovery can be divided into two parts: one is when spraying the workpiece, the paint mist collides and mixes with the water curtain, and part of the paint mist dissolves into the water curtain and falls into the water tank; the second is the paint mist that does not dissolve into the water curtain enters the water wash room through the gap at the bottom of the water curtain board, fully mixes with the water mist sprayed by the atomizing nozzle, separates after the gas-water separation, and then flows into the water tank. Regularly add paint mist coagulant in the water tank to form paint residue.
