Mobile Phone World (www.ccmobi.com) Introduction:

The HP Veer 4G smartphone is a stylish and extremely compact device, serving as an entry-level product in the WebOS 2.0 era.

Recently, a set of teardown images of the Veer has surfaced online, offering us greater insight into this little gadget.

From the pictures, we can see that the build quality of this phone is quite meticulous. However, due to its size, the phone does not have a removable battery, which is a minor regret for this device.

Despite its small size, the performance of the phone is impressive. It features a slider design with a 2.6-inch screen and a resolution of 240x400 pixels. The dimensions of the phone are 84x54.5x15.1mm, and it weighs 103 grams. Additionally, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7230 processor with a clock speed of 800MHz and runs the latest webOS 2.1 system. It has 8GB of internal storage and 512MB of RAM, supports HSPA+ and WiFi 802.11b/g, and can be wirelessly charged using the TouchStone charging pad. The Veer also comes equipped with a 5-megapixel camera that uses EDoF technology but does not support auto-focus.

This device is expected to launch in Germany in May 2011. The AT&T version of the HP Veer 4G will begin sales on May 15th and will be available in black and white color options.
