The reason why Pickle wanted to learn from the cat as a master is because the cat has many skills. First of all, the cat's eyes are very powerful. On pitch-black nights, when others' eyes become useless, the cat can see everything clearly. Moreover, the cat can climb over walls and roofs and has nine lives, allowing it to come back to life after death. These special abilities are what anyone would want to possess, like Pickle in Superpickle No.1 – Pickle and the Egg.
Initially, Pickle learned wall-climbing from the cat. The cat first taught Pickle how to climb trees. Once he became proficient, they started walking slowly on walls, then faster, and eventually practicing at night. All the previous steps were easy to learn, but during nighttime practice on the walls, Pickle kept falling off, making his head dizzy every time. Whenever he fell and the pain was unbearable, he would start calling out Rose’s name. Strangely enough, whenever he thought of Rose, the pain in his head disappeared. Seeing Pickle's head covered with lumps, Mapo Biscuit felt pity for him and said, "Child, let's stop this, shall we?" But Pickle disagreed. Mapo Biscuit continued, "Possible things require persistence, but impossible things mean persistence leads to a dead end. Back in the day, your father didn't want to be a pickle either. He went up the mountain to dig for gold, but the gold on that mountain had already been dug up by others. Everyone advised him to stop digging, but he insisted. In the end, he died exhausted on the mountain without finding a single piece of gold, leaving me to raise you all alone in poverty until now. Now you want to become a superhero? Originally, Pickle's skill of emitting foul odors wasn’t as convenient as a weasel farting. Then one day, he suddenly realized that even if he became a superhero with his stinky self, what impression would it leave on Rose? This made him quite troubled. As for the possibility of success, well, take the example of his father who ended up dying on the mountain without finding any gold. Why? Because no one believed in themselves while chasing thieves. Subsequently, Pickle followed the cat's advice, eating more carrots and foods high in vitamin A during the day and being active at night to gradually adapt to the dark environment. After adapting for some time, when he practiced climbing walls again, he fell less frequently, and his vision improved significantly. Eventually, he could climb walls and leap across rooftops just like a cat.
