The Declaration of Chickens
Rebellious Chicken: Dear chicken compatriots, we are slaughtered, skinned, gutted, dismembered, then roasted over fire, steamed with vapor, or deep-fried in oil. Even after our feathers are plucked, they are made into dusters and placed on tables for admiration. Our very names are used as insults by them. Aren't they detestable? They are our irreconcilable enemies, the hereditary foes of our generations. If we don't avenge ourselves upon them, we will be unworthy descendants of chickens. We must avenge our deceased chicken fathers, mothers, grandmothers, grandfathers, brothers, younger brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins. For them, for ourselves, and for the sake of our offspring not to suffer the same fate, arise! Chickens who refuse to be slaves, let's build a new life with our flesh and blood. The chicken race has reached its most perilous moment. Each one of us is forced to emit the final roar. Arise! Collect debts from thieves. Arise! And... arise...
