The demolished illegal and违章 building area is close to 5000 square meters
On August 25, based on legal procedures, Zhanggong District organized a large-scale demolition action and forcibly demolished two illegal and违章 buildings near 5000 square meters in Shuhe Town.
In the morning of the same day, Zhanggong District dispatched more than 300 demolition personnel to forcibly demolish two illegal and违章 buildings in Wulong Village and Liukeng Village of Shuhe Town. The illegal and违章 building located in Shangcun Group of Wulong Village was built by the group cooperating with developers without approval. The town and village repeatedly requested to halt construction and demolish the buildings, but some group cadres and developers ignored the advice and continued to build. While Wulong Village suspended the duties of the group cadres, it also requested the higher authorities to carry out forced demolition. The illegal and违章 building located in Longtang Group of Liukeng Village was the result of private land transactions between local farmers and bosses from other places, who falsely claimed to build pigsties and fish ponds. In April this year, after receiving reports, the town and village promptly investigated the situation, conducted ideological work, and issued stop-work notices, but they still carried out rushed construction at night.
