I really feel that GTalk is becoming more and more useful. Recently, I saw some small tips about GTalk online, but they were all a bit scattered. It turns out that the original source of these tips is Customiaetalk.com. Today, I will organize and translate them with slight modifications.

Friends who are good at English can check the original webpage.

Message

Each text message can send up to 32767 characters (16386 Chinese characters plus one English character), and each voice message can be up to 3 minutes long (this was added by myself, it wasn't in the original text).

GTalk supports the following emoticons, which will be displayed in bold blue:

:-| :-O :-x :-P :-D ;-) :-( :-) B-)

:'( :| :O :x :P :D :) :( :)

To make the message bold, add * (note: must be half-width) at the beginning and end of the message, for example: *Love GTalk*

To make the message italicized, add _ (half-width) at the beginning and end of the message, for example: _Just love GTalk_

To insert special symbols like ♥♫☺, go to "Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Character Map"
