Nikon officially releases the new D5100 DSLR model

On April 6, 2011, Nikon officially announced the release of its new digital camera model, the D5100, for the global market. According to official information from Nikon China, the product is expected to be available at the end of April. The estimated price for the body alone is $799, approximately 5225 RMB; the kit with the 18-55VR lens is expected to be priced at $899, approximately 5879 RMB.
