Thousands of years ago, Western scientists believed that the entire Earth was composed of four elements: earth, air, fire, and water. Even though modern science has evolved in different directions, we still use this ancient wisdom to understand the world.

◆ Fire Signs:

As you can see, out of every 4 signs, one is a fire sign. If you connect them with lines, they form a perfect equilateral triangle, also known in astrology as the grand trine. In fact, this applies to all four elements.

Fire signs include Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.

The fire element symbolizes passion, energy, impulse, enthusiasm, inspiration, idealism, and belief. Fire signs are the leaders and cheerleaders of the zodiac, providing us with the necessary encouragement, motivation, and creativity.

If someone has 2-4 planets in fire signs on their chart, they will be full of passion and idealism but may also be unreliable, self-centered, and impractical.

If 5 or more planets fall into fire signs, the person may appear calm and shy unless they feel safe enough to express themselves.

If there are only 0-1 planets in fire signs, it means the person lacks vitality and always needs others to inspire or motivate them.

◆ Earth Signs:

Earth signs include Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn.

The earth element symbolizes practicality, stability, materialism, and realism. Due to its practical and reliable nature, earth signs provide the essential resources for our life foundations. They usually have deep connections with nature and are builders of long-lasting structures.

When 2-4 planets fall into earth signs on someone's chart, they have a talent for handling practical and material matters such as money, business, or craftsmanship.

If 5 or more planets fall into earth signs, the person may become too fixated on material aspects, preventing them from seeing deeper meanings behind things.

If someone has only 0-1 planets in earth signs, they usually don't worry about money. For example, Bill Gates is like this. Although they may have a tendency to be impractical and neglect their bodies, they generally don't face issues related to knowledge and often have high education levels.

◆ Air Signs:

Air signs include Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius.

The air element symbolizes the mind, language, intelligence, reasoning, interpersonal relationships, and social interactions. Air signs provide ideas that trigger events.

A chart with many planets in air signs indicates a person who has many ideas to share. They may lack grounding and could multitask excessively, juggling too many things at once.

Water signs include Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.

The water element symbolizes emotions, the soul, mystery, and intuition.

Water signs are "feelers," nurturers, and caregivers.

People with 2-4 planets in water signs on their chart are highly sensitive and emotional. They may possess intuitive or even psychic abilities.

People with 5 or more planets in water signs can be overly sensitive, which might hinder themselves, making them seem isolated and reclusive.

If someone has only 0-1 planets in water signs, it doesn't mean they lack feelings! In fact, they are very emotional people, although sometimes their emotions may disconnect from their feelings.

Each sign corresponds to an element (which is well-known), but it also corresponds to a type (which is less known). Signs can be divided into three types: cardinal, fixed, and mutable.

◆ Lack of an Element:

The results of lacking an element can be quite strange.

Some people without any air element still have high academic degrees. They don't face any problems in learning and are quite intelligent. The issue arises in how to utilize their intellectual talents.

People without any earth element rarely face problems with money and resources (like Bill Gates). However, the challenge lies in how to use the resources they possess.

People lacking the water element actually have quite sharp tendencies, with deep emotions and feelings, but they don't know how to handle their emotions or satisfy their needs. This doesn't mean they are emotionally dull or lack intuition. In fact, a great psychologist, as renowned as Edgar Cayce, had no planets in water signs in their chart.

If there are no planets in a particular element, it seems to indicate that there are no obstacles in that area. This may be contrary to what many people imagine, making it somewhat peculiar.
