iGoogle Tops Google's Site Traffic Rankings
According to the tech blog TechCrunch, 2007 was a very important year for Google: by market value, Google became the fifth largest public company in the U.S.; its share in the global online search market continued to grow.
According to data released by internet traffic monitoring agency comScore, in 2007, traffic to Google's main web properties (excluding non-U.S. sites and YouTube, which was acquired) increased by 22.42%. Among these, the fastest-growing traffic was to Google's personalized homepage service, iGoogle.
