Google Coop Custom Search Adds Popular Query Keywords

Since the launch of Google Coop's Custom Search Engine (CSE), the website "Search Engine Periphery" has switched to using CSE as its internal search engine. I have always hoped that the CSE backend could display a list of keywords searched by users. However, based on recent actions by the CSE team, it seems that Google does not plan to fully open up all search keyword lists, but instead only provides a list of the most popular query terms.

I don't know how many user searches are required for a term to appear on this list, but what made me laugh and cry at the same time was that in March, the most searched term on my CSE was actually “Xiushui Changliu” - words that have absolutely nothing to do with the theme of my blog. -_-
