Copying the American Internet growth model seems to have become a shortcut for the growth of Chinese Internet enterprises. With successes like YouTube, MySpace, and SecondLife in America, China can quickly find hundreds of similar websites. Recently, an article in a magazine pointed out that China's Internet is "good at imitation but severely lacks innovation." It also raises the question: how much further can the concept of China alone go?
