"Day in the Life" is the largest photographic event in history, documenting the customs and cultures of countries around the world over a span of 20 years. To date, this project has been carried out 13 times in the United States, China, Russia, and Japan. In each location, all the photographs have been published in albums, with global sales exceeding 3.5 million copies. "A Day In The Life Of Africa" (One Day in Africa Through the Eyes of 100 Photographers) is one of its series, featuring nearly a hundred renowned photographers from 26 countries traveling across 53 African nations to capture scenes of life on the continent over a 24-hour period.
On December 1, 2007, as part of the historic large-scale world photography event - the "DAY in the life" series, the "100 Photographers' View of One Day in Africa (A Day in the Life of AFRICA)" photo exhibition was grandly opened at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing. This photography event, fully supported by Olympus, an internationally renowned imaging company, showcased touching images captured by 100 photographers in 53 African countries, presenting the astonishing charm of the African continent through stunning digital imagery.
