Internet Talent: Technology, Sales, and Customer Service are the three most sought-after categories
From the recently released research report on talent in China's Internet industry, it is known that there is a significant shortage of computer and network technology professionals, sales personnel, and customer service staff.
Concentrated Distribution and High Talent Mobility
The majority of China’s internet professionals are concentrated in economically developed provinces and municipalities such as Beijing, Guangdong, and Shanghai, with distribution ratios of 37.5%, 16.8%, and 10.9% respectively. In 2007, the rapid development of the search market and C2C e-commerce, along with the rise of Web 2.0 applications like blogs and podcasts (video sharing), created a large number of job opportunities in the Internet sector. Comparing the "regions where Internet talent is located" with the "main recruiting cities," it becomes clear that there is a noticeable "misalignment phenomenon." Achieving a balance between talent supply and demand inevitably raises concerns about talent mobility. The high mobility of talent in China's Internet industry has become an important characteristic of the Internet human resources market in recent years.
