To enable everyone to use DedeCms for website building as soon as possible, we have decided to officially release DedeCms 2007 (V5_RC1). We have corrected all the issues discovered in the beta version. From 2004 to now, DedeCms has gone through five versions. Starting from DedeCms V2, DedeCms developed its own template engine, using XML namespace style templates, providing great convenience for the intuitive creation of visual designs. Starting from V2.1, DedeCms quickly gained popularity and became the most popular CMS software in China. In the DedeCms V3 version, the concept of a model was introduced, overcoming the drawbacks of traditional website content management, such as overly scattered modules and lack of centralized management. However, with time, it was found that pure modeling could not fully meet user needs, leading to the emergence of DedeCms 2007 (DedeCms V5).
