Microsoft APAC Executive: The number of customer service employees in Asia will double in 5 years

Microsoft said on Thursday that it expected the number of customer service centers in Asia would double within five years due to strong growth in the IT sector in Asia. Wing-Dar Ker, General Manager for Customer Service and Support Centers in Asia-Pacific and Greater China of Microsoft, said in an interview that there were approximately 850 employees in the center currently. He said when attending the 10th anniversary commemorative activities of the center in China: "We have enjoyed tremendous growth in China and across Asia. With this rapid growth, the demand for services will certainly expand."
